A leading innovator in LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) systems, specializing in ADAS, autonomous vehicles, and robotics applications, is looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to join their automotive team. Their cutting-edge LiDAR technology is transforming the automotive industry by enabling safer, more reliable autonomous navigation.
To support their growing North American customer base, they are seeking a driven and customer-focused Key Account Manager with a strong background in account and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage key automotive accounts in North America, driving the adoption of LiDAR technology and achieving sales targets.
- Develop and implement growth strategies for your accounts, identifying opportunities for expansion and upselling.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your customers, building strong relationships at various levels within the organization.
- Coordinate internal resources, including field engineers, program management, and business units, to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the sales process from initial lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Provide feedback on customer needs and trends to product development and customer service teams to align solutions with market demands.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates on account performance and potential growth areas.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, project management, or sales within the automotive industry, with a focus on OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Strong background in managing customer relationships and delivering on project timelines.
- Experience working with sensor technologies, LiDAR, or similar electronic components is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and build long-term relationships with customers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
