As a Workplace Assistant, you will have a vital role in supporting the day-to-day maintenance and operational tasks at our location in Novato, CA. From administrative responsibilities to facility upkeep, you will contribute to maintaining an exceptional workplace environment. In this role, you will be in the office five days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Workplace Operations team in all office procedures to ensure a well-functioning workplace environment.

• Support the front of house service for visitors, customers, and colleagues, providing a warm and friendly welcome.

• Manage tasks independently, prioritizing and completing them with exceptional attention to detail.

• Procure office supplies, cleaning supplies, stationary, toner, mailroom and shipping supplies, and other miscellaneous items as needed.

• Provide support services for the mailroom, processing incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.

• Respond to routine inquiries and provide assistance with service tickets.

• Perform general clerical duties, including copying, faxing, mailing, laminating, and filing.

• Document and store vendor work orders accurately and efficiently.

• Support the Facilities Coordinator in managing reactive and proactive maintenance requests.

• Support the Culinary & Events team in event setup and run-of-show, which may involve tasks such as furniture moving, vendor coordination, serving duties, and running errands.

• Update floor plans promptly via iOffice to reflect office moves and new hires.

• Deliver requested office furniture to employees.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• College coursework or equivalent experience in a related area is preferred.

• One to two years of administrative or office experience in related fields desired.
