Key Responsibilities- Review and update patient Electronic Health Records (EHRs) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and coordinating with healthcare providers.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Process and manage patient requests, including medication refills, test results, and medical records.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on medical terminology, CPT codes, and diagnostic orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve issues and improve patient outcomes.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Epic Electronic Health Records experience highly desired.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, and ability to learn new software systems.
- 1 year of experience in a medical environment, health insurance, or related field preferred.
- Medical terminology and knowledge of CPT codes and diagnostic orders a plus.
- Competitive hourly rate: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour.
