Job Description: Territory Sales Manager - Lower Midwest (MO, AR, OK, TX)


Position Summary: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for creating, advancing, and closing new business opportunities within the designated region. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, this role involves extensive travel (up to 60%) and a proactive approach to driving new business growth while fostering existing customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


• Create, advance, and close new business opportunities, both with existing and new customers.

• Employ a consultative and solutions-focused approach to selling, understanding customer needs and offering appropriate solutions.

• Expand relationships and business within existing accounts, maximizing revenue potential.

• Develop strong relationships on multiple organizational levels within client organizations.

• Prepare and execute comprehensive annual and quarterly sales plans as defined by the annual sales objectives, aligned with organizational objectives.

• Report monthly on key performance indicators, including new business closed, opportunities created, meaningful conversations held, pipeline growth, and pipeline advancement.

• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, face-to-face meetings, and customer interactions in the CRM system.

• Travel within the assigned region to meet clients and prospects, build rapport and foster business growth.


Qualifications:


• Proven experience in sales and business development for the rubber products industry.

• Strong sales acumen with a track record of successfully closing deals and exceeding sales targets. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to strategize, plan, and execute sales initiatives to drive growth and achieve organizational goals.

• Proficient in using CRM systems to manage and track sales activities and pipeline.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time to engage with clients and prospects.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (preferred).
