Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with design specifications.
  • Coordinate and oversee the bidding process, including contractor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, monitoring expenditures and ensuring financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve project issues and ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with school administrators, faculty, and staff to minimize disruptions and ensure project goals align with educational objectives.
  • Implement and enforce project safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for all project participants.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports and updates to senior management and project stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on K-12 educational facilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including school administrators, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project).
  • Certification in project management (PMP) or LEED accreditation preferred.
