Location: Menlo Park, CA—This is an onsite position. The hiring plan does not include a relocation package.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As an Inventory Manager, you will oversee all aspects of inventory management within our company. Your primary objective will be to ensure accurate stock levels, minimize stockouts, optimize inventory turnover, and contribute to the overall efficiency and profitability of the business. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions.


Job Responsibilities:


Department and Team Management:

  • Manage the inventory team, including recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Team player with a strong ability to work cross-functionally with Retail, Operations, Production, Digital Marketing and E-Commerce.
  • Create SOP and documentation for all inventory processes/procedures


Inventory and Shipping Management:

  • Coordinate the logistics of sales, repairs, purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and SKU processing
  • Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
  • Process and track inbound and outbound shipments
  • Generate and analyze reports and evaluate inventory metrics and team performance.
  • Create necessary shipping documents (shipping labels, proforma invoices, customs documentation).
  • Optimize and maintain an organized storage system of accessories, certificates, supplies, and packaging


Inventory Control:

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Procurement team to replenish stock as needed.
  • Develop, implement, and document inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levels and records throughout its lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular inventory stock counts, age inventory, and audits to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
  • Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or related.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role managing an inventory team.
  • Wholesale, Retail, and/or luxury goods experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices such as cycle counting, SKU management, and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping.
  • Proficient knowledge of systems and platforms such as G-suite, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), CRM, and Inventory management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and critical-thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and strong time management skills.
  • Experience in the Jewelry industry may put you at the top of the list.
