Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and refresh inventory documentation utilizing NetSuite (our ERP system). This encompasses entering purchase orders, reconciling packing lists, and overseeing item receipts.
  • Ensure the correctness of product receipts in comparison to anticipated values, making necessary adjustments as required. Collaborate with the team and vendors to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Track inventory levels to guarantee that products are turned over within an acceptable timeframe.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and address discrepancies to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Examine inventory variances and execute corrective measures as necessary.
  • Create reports detailing inventory status, performance indicators, and trends for management assessment.
  • Work alongside warehouse and purchasing teams to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards related to inventory oversight.
  • Identify potential areas for process enhancements and cost efficiencies within the inventory management function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Inventory Management Specialist or in a comparable role, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution setting.
  • Strong expertise in ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory control best practices and procedures.
  • This position is an in-house role and not remote.
