This role works closely with customer service to ensure that instrumentation and device orders are shipped and with quality regarding inspections and with engineering regarding status of key instrument function, and with purchasing regarding inventory levels and reorder points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with companys policies and vision
  • Ensure that ISO: 13485 quality standards are maintained in all warehousing operations.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and inventory control operations.
  • Initiate, manage and reconcile quarterly inventory cycle counts.
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
  • Manage medical device control and reconcile with ImplantBase.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (Usage reports, loaner reports, inventory reports)

Job Requirements:

Education:Bachelors Degree Required, preferably in a related field of logistics, supply chain management or in a related field experience.

Experience Requirements:

  • 4 years Experience in Inventory Management and Control.
  • 4 years Experience in Shipping and Receiving Management Role.
  • 4 years experience in FedEx, both Domestic and International.

Other Required Skills and Qualities:

  • Knowledge of shipping industry regulations.
  • Analytical, leadership, and Problem-solving skills.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite applications
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel overnight and for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume.
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to move throughout the day within an office environment, as well as to and within other places of business.
  • Required to operate office equipment as well as warehouse equipment.
  • Routinely lift and/or move 50+ pounds medical devices, trays, and related equipment.
