Position Overview:

Modern Luxury Media is launching Interiors Austin in 2025, a premier magazine dedicated to the world of luxury home design, architecture, and interiors. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Account Executive who lives and breathes the Home & Interiors category. This individual will drive the sales strategy, build relationships with top interior designers, architects, luxury real estate professionals, and upscale home brands, ensuring our magazine becomes the go-to source for high-end interior inspiration in Austin.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across print, digital, social, and event platforms for Interiors Austin.
  • Client Relations: Cultivate and manage relationships with top clients and potential advertisers in the home, design, interiors, and luxury real estate industries. Identify and secure new business opportunities that align with our brand.
  • Home & Interiors Expertise: Immerse yourself in the home design and luxury interiors space, staying up-to-date on industry trends, local influencers, and upcoming projects to position Interiors Austin as the authority in the market.
  • Collaborative Selling: Work closely with editorial, marketing, and production teams to align client goals with magazine content and tailor marketing solutions that deliver exceptional value.
  • Event Sales: Be a driving force behind our high-profile events, collaborating with clients to create immersive brand experiences that resonate with our affluent audience.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling sales presentations, proposals, and advertising solutions for clients, showcasing how Interiors Austin can elevate their brand.
  • Revenue Growth: Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets, while helping build the foundation for a successful magazine launch.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in media sales, with a focus on the home, interiors, or luxury design categories preferred.
  • A genuine passion for the world of home design, architecture, interiors, and the luxury lifestyle.
  • Proven track record of developing successful sales strategies and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and think creatively about solutions for luxury clients.
  • Strong understanding of multi-platform media sales (print, digital, social, and events).
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A deep network of contacts in the home design and interiors industry in Austin is a plus.
