Senior Quality Control & Assurance Manager

Recognizing the need to bolster our quality assurance efforts, we are now introducing a Senior Quality Control/Assurance role to strengthen our commitment to quality.


Overview

The Senior Quality Control & Assurance Manager will play a foundational role in sculpting our QC & QA processes from the ground up. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this hands-on role will be pivotal in establishing, executing, and refining our quality assurance protocols. A successful candidate will be a meticulous professional with a keen eye for detail, ready to roll up their sleeves and build the function. As Pixi Beauty continues to grow, so will the scope of this role, offering the opportunity to establish and lead a dedicated QC & QA team.


Responsibilities

  • Lay the groundwork for Pixi Beauty's QC & QA functions, developing and implementing best practices, quality processes, and methodologies from scratch.
  • Collaborate closely with the NPD and Supply chain teams to weave quality measures into every step, from product conception to production.
  • Promptly address and resolve any product quality concerns, maintaining the stellar reputation of the brand.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of our existing production processes to identify potential areas of improvement and ensure quality integrity.

  • Evaluate supplier quality, ensuring all materials align with Pixi Beauty's standards and specifications.
  • Stay abreast of local and international beauty industry regulations to ensure Pixi Beauty's unwavering compliance.
  • Develop and monitor key quality performance indicators, championing continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate training sessions for other departments to instill a culture of quality across the organization.
  • Collate and act on customer feedback to refine products and address quality concerns.
  • Plan for the future expansion of the QC/QA department, identifying needs for additional roles and resources.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Quality, Chemistry, Cosmetology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in quality control/assurance in the beauty or cosmetics industry, with a proven track record of establishing QC & QA processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing QC & QA software tools and applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Intimate knowledge of regulatory standards within the beauty industry.
