This project encompasses the decommissioning of outdated coal-powered units and the implementation of advanced natural gas-powered electricity generation units, with capabilities for hydrogen utilization, achieving a net generation output of 840 megawatts. Additionally, the project includes the modernization of a Transmission System.
Key Responsibilities
In this senior-level planning and scheduling position, the successful candidate will adeptly manage all facets of planning, scheduling, and field project assignments, leveraging their training, skills, and experience. This role will also involve providing mentorship to junior project personnel and acting as a lead figure within the team.
The individual will demonstrate proficiency in directing the project control functions and will have the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders effectively. They will serve as the primary facilitator for project forecasts, identifying potential issues and advising the project team on elements that may impact project execution.
Furthermore, the role entails leading project controls scheduling efforts, ensuring that constructability is integrated into the planning process, and applying key cost control methodologies. The successful candidate will establish systems to monitor work status and proactively identify issues, collaborating closely with the management team to address any challenges.
Qualifications
Education:
A four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
A minimum of six years of relevant experience in Cost Control, Planning, and Scheduling is required.
Proficiency in schedule management and earned value analysis is essential.
