We are currently in search of a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Coordinator with a background in Aerospace Distribution. The successful candidate will be instrumental in upholding and enhancing our quality assurance processes through various administrative tasks. Responsibilities will range from managing documentation to conducting compliance checks, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained in our aerospace distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, certifications, and compliance records.
- Ensure all documentation is precise, current, and readily accessible for audits.
- Assist in the inspection process by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring that inspection tools are calibrated and available.
- Review and complete company profile documentation requests from clients, including quality surveys and questionnaires.
- Conduct supplier surveys to facilitate the quality team's approval of new suppliers.
- Monitor quality task deadlines and inform team members of upcoming responsibilities.
- Communicate relevant quality-related updates or changes to appropriate personnel.
- Facilitate effective communication between quality assurance teams and other departments.
- Accurately input quality-related data into the system for tracking and analysis.
- Assist in generating reports on key quality metrics.
- Complete customer quality surveys and questionnaires.
- Review vendor approvals to ensure that vendors are removed when their approval has lapsed.
- Collect metrics data and assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations.
- Help capture and format work instructions and procedures to support change management.
- Assist with audit documentation in preparation for internal and external audits.
- Manage documents within the Quality SharePoint site.
- Gather information for metrics reporting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (an Associate's degree in a related field is advantageous).
- Relevant certifications in quality management or aerospace quality control are beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience as a Quality Clerk, preferably in the aerospace distribution sector.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation requirements in aerospace.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Knowledge of applicable quality standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $21.63/hr-$23/hr
