Role Overview:
This pivotal role involves the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our Quality Program.

The Senior QA/QC Manager will oversee compliance and quality assurance/control throughout the execution of the QA/QC Program. This includes managing process improvement initiatives and providing comprehensive reporting.

Collaboration with project teams is essential to ensure the effective implementation of processes, adherence to timelines, and the delivery of quality outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement site-specific QA/QC Programs in accordance with contract specifications and create Test/Inspection plans based on technical requirements.
  • Oversee the QA/QC Program and manage Quality Control Engineers and testing laboratory technicians.
  • Engage with clients and architects to secure approval for the Quality Control Program and ensure its effective execution.
  • Conduct regular field inspections to verify compliance with contract documents and address issues such as punch list items and non-compliance.
  • Maintain open communication with the Project Director regarding quality control observations and best practices.
  • Participate in pre-bid and pre-construction meetings to establish quality expectations.
  • Lead pre-activity and weekly Quality Control meetings, and implement Quality Control software solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, with a proven track record in creating and implementing Quality Programs.
  • Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training is required (can be obtained within the first year of employment).
  • In-depth knowledge of design and construction quality systems.
  • Experience in management, monitoring, and auditing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines applicable to the design and construction sector.
  • Ability to interpret industry codes and standards, as well as local and state regulations.
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving quality and compliance issues in a proactive and constructive manner.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven capability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Basic knowledge of Bluebeam and BIM 360 Field is advantageous.
