Buenpuerto, a talent Solutions company, is collaborating with a forwarder company specialized in pharmaceutical products to hire a highly motivated and experienced Head of Transportation and Logistics to join our company in New Jersey and help it grow.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers. We are looking for someone motivated to develop his/her professional career towards the head of operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate transportation and logistics operations.
  • Oversee warehouse management and inventory control.
  • Optimize transportation routes to reduce costs and delivery times.
  • Implement and maintain transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Ensure compliance with safety and transportation regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
  • Master’s degree or advanced course in Supply Chain.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouses and transportation.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation traffic management and warehouse operations.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Highly valued experience in multi-temperature environments.
  • Deep knowledge of warehouse management software (WMS) and traffic management software. (TMS)
  • Spanish is a plus.
