Sales Operations Manager

Our client is a small but mighty toy company now looking to expand their team to support their continued growth. Reporting to the CEO and National Sales Director, the Sales Operation Manager will manage logistics, fulfillment, inventory and related sales operations. This is a remote role though would require frequent visits to their warehouse in Addison, Illinois as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage scheduling and execution of kitting of final products within our facility and with 3PLs, including to provide training and manage quality inspections
  • Coordinate and manage packaging/shipping logistics among distribution centers, vendors and within sales channels
  • Coordinate and manage component, materials and final product inventories, including monitoring and optimizing warehousing across distribution
  • Fulfill daily customer orders from various e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify, and so on)
  • Coordinate and manage returns
  • Coordinate and manage quality assurance
  • Forecast supply needs for current and future product offerings and sales channels
  • Support the sales organization with data and analyses for sales forecasting
  • Investigate, implement, improve systems and processes regarding all of the above
  • Track and report on all of the above



Qualifications

  • 6+ years of operational management and sales support role
  • Proficient operational and financial acumen
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven track record in warehouse and inventory management

  • Experience in toy industry or working with injection molded products
  • Experience leading projects and teams
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proven excellence in managing fulfilment operations
