As the Wellness Center Operations Manager, you will need to be proactive, address challenges head-on, consistently seek solutions, and focus on possibilities rather than limitations.
Experience in sales, spa services, health/wellness sectors, or customer service is advantageous, but we are open to training the right individual. We provide a Competitive Salary + Commission + Complimentary Infrared Sauna Membership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all staffing levels while collaborating with ownership to sustain and expand the business in alignment with its mission, vision, and values.
- Staff Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and management of all personnel, including coaching them in effective consultative selling techniques and addressing performance issues as necessary.
- Sales and Membership Goals: Propel sales by organizing promotional events, executing community outreach initiatives, and cultivating a robust client base to meet company-defined KPIs for revenue and membership retention.
- Operational Budgets and Efficiency: Effectively manage operational budgets, ensure cost efficiency, and meet or exceed all membership objectives while maintaining inventory, facilities, and cleanliness.
- Member Engagement and Retention: Foster relationships with members and guests, greet them personally, and cultivate a vibrant, enjoyable, and engaged membership culture through contests, promotions, and events to retain members.
- Communication and Leadership: Conduct regular staff meetings and one-on-ones, and maintain high visibility and positive interactions with guests to lead by example and promote a constructive work environment.
- Engage with Members & Guests to cultivate relationships.
- Greet Members by name and ensure they leave feeling rejuvenated.
- Maintain a strong presence and positive engagement with guests at all times.
- Retain members by adhering to Best Practices outlined in Training Guides.
- Build a robust customer list to achieve company objectives.
- Create a lively, enjoyable, and engaged membership culture through contests, promotions, and events.
- Manage purchasing and inventory of studio supplies.
Additional Responsibilities:
● Encourage adherence to company policies and practices: Motivate employees to follow established protocols for member check-in, telephone inquiries, guest registration, cash handling, account management, customer care calls, membership changes, and cancellations.
● Maintain the highest level of customer service when making decisions related to clientele and through external communication cycles or automated marketing systems.
● Ensure all operations within the facility, including but not limited to:
restrooms, showers, and storage areas, meet quality standards.

Physical Requirements:
● Must be able to tolerate high temperatures above 135 degrees for brief periods.
● Must be able to stand for extended durations.
● Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
● Must be able to demonstrate the saunas to members, which involves entering and exiting the sauna and reaching overhead to adjust settings.
● Must be able to bend, kneel, and squat to access and adjust the saunas as required.
