Job Summary

Join True Ventures Group as a Human Resources Director, where you will be a key player in shaping our workforce and fostering a nurturing work environment. Your role will involve a diverse range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, policy implementation, benefits administration, training, compliance, and HR metrics analysis. You will be the cornerstone in ensuring our HR practices align with our compassionate and inclusive company culture, contributing significantly to employee engagement and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop HR strategies that enhance employee engagement and align with company goals.
  • Employee Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers, providing guidance and support in conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage effective onboarding processes to integrate new hires seamlessly.
  • Policy and Procedure Implementation: Develop, revise, and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices that comply with legal requirements and align with organizational goals.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, answer inquiries, and ensure accurate enrollment processes.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and collaborate with management to organize relevant training sessions. Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the performance management process, providing guidance on goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Workers' Compensation Management: Oversee and manage workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely filing and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Unemployment Claim Handling: Handle unemployment claims, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Compile and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare regular HR reports for management review.
  • Employee Engagement: Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to enhance the employee experience.
  • HR Project Management: Lead and manage HR-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in HR leadership roles with a strong track record of strategic planning and execution.
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop HR teams.
  • Proficiency in HR project management and HR software and systems, including ADP Workforce Now.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR metrics and data to drive decisions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
