The Network Administrator II will play a critical role in supporting the company's enterprise infrastructure. This role will be primarily responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining a diverse array of networks/technology.


Location: Newark, DE or Dover, DE

Pay: $125,000 to $130,000


Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain a wide range of on-premise and cloud-based technologies, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Configure and support the company's enterprise environment, encompassing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Stay informed about the latest infrastructure trends to ensure the environment remains up-to-date and competitive; continuously develop skills to execute tasks effectively.
  • Participate in regular disaster recovery planning and testing to maintain network continuity in the event of an emergency.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Cyber Security & Networking to ensure services align with all business requirements.
  • Operate within established configuration and change management policies to guarantee awareness, approval, and successful implementation of changes to the network infrastructure.
  • Review and monitor service provider billings, and communicate with providers to resolve any billing errors, discrepancies, and issues related to authorized portal access.
  • Establish a reliable and scalable networking environment by designing system configurations, overseeing system installations, and defining, documenting, and enforcing relevant standards.
  • Enhance network performance by monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues and outages, scheduling upgrades, and working on network optimization efforts.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure service levels are met and establish clear processes for problem resolution.
  • Provide regular updates on the operational status of the network, including compliance with applicable security frameworks.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hands on role
  • Experience with Cisco and supporting in a on prem and cloud environment
  • Background in doing firewalls, VPNS etc.
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
