{"Job Title": "Primary Care Physician", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at CFG Health Network. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, including examining referred patients, implementing and supervising chronic clinics, and consulting with medical providers in the community.

Responsibilities:

* Examine referred patients and provide high-quality medical care
* Implement and supervise chronic clinics
* Consult with medical providers in the community
* Assume the role of primary care physician with the coordination of on and off-site care needs
* Supervise clinical services provided by professional and paraprofessional staff
* Visit patients housed in the medical unit and record encounters in patient progress notes using SOAP format
* Ensure that all verbal or telephone orders are countersigned within seventy-two (72) hours
* Utilize available in-house resource personnel for treatment or resolution of identified problems before utilizing off-site referral
* Provide emergency treatment on-site and respond appropriately in urgent or emergency situations
* Maintain proper certification for cardiopulmonary resuscitation
* Assume responsibility and accountability for individual judgment and actions
* Utilize standard precautions when providing any invasive procedures for diagnostic or routine studies or handling specimens
* Keep patient information confidential and respect patients' right to privacy, in accordance with accepted confidentiality practices for incarcerated individuals
* Abide by the security regulations of the facility
* Notify the Administrator of changes in scheduled coverage and assist in arrangement for coverage of medical services if unavailable for an extended period of time
* Serve as Chairperson of the Medical Audit Committee
* Annually review and approve clinical protocols, clinical policies, procedures, and medical disaster plan
* Assist with the development of medical audit criteria
* Oversee the on-site quality assurance program, including infection control and review & action on inmate complaints
* Serve as discussion leader for selected service training classes
* Represent the health care program in discussion with local civic groups or visiting officials
* Monitor referrals to outside health care facilities for appropriateness, quality, and continuity of care
* Monitor non-formulary medication utilization at the assigned facility
* Be available for the resolution of administrative/medical issues
* Assist in the screening, interviewing, and evaluating the credentials of health care providers
* Ensure that all physician documentation is dated, timed, legible, problem-oriented, and signed
* Perform all other duties as assigned.", "Qualifications": "To be considered for this position, you must have:

* Completion of a US-based residency program
