Senior Finance Analyst - Retail Network Development

Lucid is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our Retail Network Development team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the forecasting, budgeting, and reporting process for our growing global retail operations.

This role will focus on planning and reporting for headcount, operating expenses, and capital expenditures for all retail locations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that operating and capital expenditures are managed efficiently and in line with budget.

Main Responsibilities:

  • FP&A: Partner with Retail and Facility Operations, Purchasing, Lease Administrator, Real Estate, and Legal to plan and forecast headcount and operating costs for all retail network locations
  • Accounting: Partner with Accounts Payable, Treasury, Accounting, and Tax to ensure the purchase-to-pay process is smooth, with transactional data recorded accurately and timely, as well as audit and tax compliant
  • Systems: Ensure all systems are aligned with the purchase-to-pay process for all retail operations, including ERP (SAP S4/Hana), Visual Lease, Purchasing, and Vendor Invoice Management

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly and quarterly reporting and consolidations of forecasts and budgets for the Retail Development Team, including headcount, operating and capital expenses
  • Build, own, and track retail location proformas to support strategic decisions and analysis to grow revenue and profitability
  • Become the subject matter expert on proper accounting treatment in Actuals and Forecast of current and future lease obligations under lease accounting standards (ASC 840, ASC 842, IFRS 16)
  • Manage the purchase-to-pay process for all spend activities in the retail operations
  • Identify and address areas to improve the effectiveness of our financial planning and forecasting activities to streamline and enhance processes
  • Collaborate with accounting and other finance partners to bridge actual results to plan and identify cost savings opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience and knowledge in retail operations, retail planning, and forecasting experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to interact with various business partner relationships and management levels
  • Knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles and processes, including in-depth knowledge of lease accounting (ASC 840, ASC 842, IFRS 16)
  • Proven experience in budgeting, planning, forecasting, closing, and reconciling operating spend
  • Proven organization skills with ability and flexibility in prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, growth environment
  • Ability to effectively articulate variances, analyses, and financial stories in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven ability developing and improving processes and automating reporting
  • Strong SAP S4/Hana, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required - Tableau is a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting - MBA/CPA is a plus
