Position: HR Generalist

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay: 70-75k


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.
  • HR Administration including HR document preparation e.g. Employment Contracts, Maintaining and organizing personnel records, updating internal databases, and company policy revision.
  • Bi-Weekly payroll processing including employee payroll setup, federal/state registration whenever necessary, and communication with payroll vendor.
  • Administer benefits, including enrollment, leaves, and 401k.
  • Generate and present reports regarding development/turnover rates/etc.
  • Liaise with external partners and ensure legal compliance with federal and state labor laws.
  • Maintain and develop HR polices and employee handbook.


Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area.
  • 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources and payroll experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of federal and state labor laws.
