Position: HR Generalist
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay: 70-75k
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.
- HR Administration including HR document preparation e.g. Employment Contracts, Maintaining and organizing personnel records, updating internal databases, and company policy revision.
- Bi-Weekly payroll processing including employee payroll setup, federal/state registration whenever necessary, and communication with payroll vendor.
- Administer benefits, including enrollment, leaves, and 401k.
- Generate and present reports regarding development/turnover rates/etc.
- Liaise with external partners and ensure legal compliance with federal and state labor laws.
- Maintain and develop HR polices and employee handbook.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area.
- 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources and payroll experience.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Understanding of federal and state labor laws.
