Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage large and small real estate transactions across retail, health care, office, condominium, multi-family, industrial, hospitality, and urban renewal sectors.
  • Advise clients on single asset and portfolio acquisitions, financing, and dispositions both regionally and nationally.
  • Structure deals to anticipate and mitigate issues throughout the transaction process, ensuring smooth pre-closing and post-closing phases.
  • Handle multi-family housing projects, particularly those involving state and federal subsidies and tax credit programs.
  • Oversee office development transactions, from public offering acquisitions to sale-leaseback deals and anchor tenant build-to-suit leases.


Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Experience in real estate law, preferably with a focus on large and complex transactions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling transactions across multiple real estate sectors, including retail, health care, office, multi-family, industrial, and hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and partnership tax law, federal, state and local tax, federal regulatory, environmental and state regulatory, corporate and securities, and land use and zoning.
