Office Assistant

Small but quickly growing law firm is looking for a dedicated full-time entry-level assistant to handle miscellaneous office responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
SKILLS:
- Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers, computers, postage machine)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Must be dependable, a self-starter and highly motivated
DUTIES:
- Assist all Departments and attorneys with mailing, printing, scanning and filing
- Provide secretarial support to one or more lawyers and/or paralegals
- Answer emails and phone calls, and when necessary, redirect calls
- Update attorneys’ calendars by scheduling return calls and/or conferences
- Run Firm errands, as requested
- Moderate client contact
- Restocking and reordering office supplies

SCHEDULE:
- Monday - Thursday 8:30-5:00 – 30 minutes for lunch (40 hours weekly)
- Friday 8:30 – 3:00
EDUCATION:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
EXPERIENCE:
- Microsoft Office: 3 years minimum
