The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and managing the HR department's day-to-day operations. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and policy development. The HR Manager ensures that the organization’s HR strategies align with its business goals and that the workplace environment supports employee engagement, productivity, and overall satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the full recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Work with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR-related issues.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture by fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and manage the performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance issues.
  • Identify training and development needs and implement programs to address them.
  • Manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to employee benefits.
  • Educate employees about their benefits and assist with enrollment and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee the development of leadership training programs for managers.
  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
  • Develop and manage the HR department’s budget.
  • Monitor and control HR expenditures to stay within budget constraints.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
