The candidate shall have knowledge of the AF Civilian and Military personnel systems. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing and provide management documentation (briefings, documents, etc.) as needed to administratively support HNI Division Human Resource activities. Duties include but are not limited to: Support and/or execute military performance reports and organizational/individual decoration packages. Responsibilities include initiating, tracking, reviewing, correcting and routing all related products and documentation. Support the execution of the Promotion Recommendation Form (PRF) process, track/identify PRF requirements, track officer promotions board schedules and ensure all PRFs are routed and submitted on time. Provide support for the senior managers and members of the organizational staff, researching and compiling information pertaining to certain projects/topics, prepare factual, clear, concise, complete, and appropriately coordinated written communications. Support or execute Telephone Control Officer (TCO) responsibilities to include over 300 phone lines in the HNI organization. As part of this duty, review monthly phone bills, submit work orders to assign new numbers, provide assistance to set up phone extensions and coordinate the repair of inoperative extensions. Support or manage the shipping of materials from HNI to CONUS/OCONSUS locations. Prepare required shipping forms as well as ensure all shipping and funding documentation Miscellaneous Obligation/Reimbursement Document (MORDs) are available for all equipment shipments going out of the division. Support senior level meetings/reviews, track status of responsibilities and provide updates, schedules and briefings to Senior Leadership. Job Requirements: Secret Clearance required. Combination of telework and on-site work schedule as determined by the supported organization. Candidate must have a working knowledge of the AF Civilian and Military personnel systems. Candidate must have a working knowledge of the military promotions (officer and enlisted) process. Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Employee will manage Air Force Officer Assignment Cycles, coordinating requisition submissions and position description updates in Talent Marketplace. Employee will track military member deployments and AFFORGEN vulnerability bands, notifying members of upcoming deployments and readiness trainings. Must have experience with military personnel record changes/updates, including but not limited to duty titles, rate changes, deployments, etc. Must have familiarity with AF2096s and unit manning documents.
