Role Summary

Bahl & Gaynor is seeking an experienced, hardworking, and highly motivated Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives in the U.S. Investment & Wealth Management space. It is a role essential to our client commitment strategy, requiring expertise in marketing and experience with wire house, broker/dealer and RIA channel marketing and asset management distribution. You will be offered the opportunity to develop our client experience and direct other exciting marketing efforts in support of our existing channel engagement model. Critical areas of ownership, collaboration, and execution include:


  • Strategic vision for Bahl & Gaynor’s U.S. investor and advisor websites, partnering with investment and product management to develop a value-driven approach regarding content
  • Email marketing strategy, including growing the implementation of marketing automation and increasing personalized communications
  • Consistent campaigns across search, social, email, and web for U.S. wealth management clients, in conjunction with wire house/IBD channel and integrated marketing strategies
  • Management of the Managed Account and ETF product marketing process both externally through platform partners (wire house, RIA & IBD platforms), Fund Distributors and external vendors and internally through the Investment Management & Research, Institutional Services and Compliance team

This role will be based in the Princeton, New Jersey area

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with marketing colleagues, business leadership, and other stakeholders to develop a cohesive marketing strategy
  • Create and maintain an efficient and effective process for delivering timely and quality content to B&G Institutional Portfolio Consultants
  • Proactively contribute dynamic and timely content ideas and direction to guide financial advisor presentations, client presentations and educational support material
  • Developing and maintaining content with strategic client messaging and working closely with account teams to deliver the most engaging ideas and content for target audiences.
  • Prepare/create questions for subject matter experts, engage clients with thought-invoking questions, and produce notes that can be used with drafting content.
  • Edit content according to clients’ preferred style and voice, proactively generate and share thought leadership ideas and approaches for clients and client account teams.
  • Partner with B&G, wire house and IBD technology to ensure feature development across tools and platforms aligns with strategic priorities and vision
  • Understand B&G data universe and utilize it to enhance our marketing approach
  • Monitor digital marketing trends and competitor offerings, staying current on market-leading and emerging online, automation and email trends, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 10 plus years of marketing experience within the investment management or financial services industry, preferably focused on the wealth management channel
  • At least five years of experience with wire house, RIA and IBD marketing platforms along with  social media, mobile apps, video/new media, automation, and email marketing experience
  • Familiarity with the asset management sales process and ability to complement, understand and explain it from a marketing perspective
  • Demonstrated track record engaging audiences at every stage of the investment management marketing process
  • Ability to sway decision-making and work closely with participants at all levels to drive strategy
