We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Lead Associate Marketing Rx (Prescription) to develop and execute marketing and product management strategies for assigned in-line generic prescription products. The successful candidate will drive business growth, maximize product performance, and achieve revenue, profit, and market share goals for North America Generics.
Key Responsibilities- Develop marketing strategy, analyze external environment, market trends, and customer behavior to produce forecasts for new and existing products, and provide inputs to Supply Chain for supply planning.
- Lead product growth program development with the sales team to drive business growth and achieve revenue, profit, and market share targets for the assigned portfolio.
- Drive product management for assigned products post-launch, track product sales performance, forecast demand, allocate inventory, and ensure adjustment of production and pricing accordingly.
- Conduct secondary research on products, customers, and competitors, therapeutic risks and opportunities, monitor FDA, industry, product, and competitor development, and generate data-based reports for decisions on product management and new product selection.
- Review product pricing vs. market pricing and recent price changes for assigned products.
- Adjust product prices as required and work with various groups to review and agree on new prices to ensure viable and profitable pricing of assigned Rx products.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 4+ years of pharmaceutical experience in product management and business analytics.
- Understanding of generic pharmaceutical market dynamics, contracts, customers, and pricing.
- Good computer (MS Office Suite), analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Decision-making and negotiation skills.
