Job Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility is to lead the strategic development of both retailers and distributors network across the Caribbean Islands region (excluding Puerto Rico). Your role encompasses both the formulation of a forward-thinking market strategy and the tactical execution of all initiatives within this region. A successful incumbent is expected to develop and implement regional sales plans that will increase or maintain current sales volumes and profit margins in all parts of their business, and maintain strong relationships with all customers and prospects.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive distributor plan and agenda, focusing on a strategic approach tailored to each market within the Caribbean Islands region.


Sales Target Achievement:

  • Drive efforts to meet and exceed annual sales volume targets, ensuring a fair market share and profitability in line with our company's goals.
  • Manage distributors and establish joint business plans to ensure continuous growth

Brand Development:

  • Take charge of planning and coordinating activities to bolster brand development and implement consumer-oriented strategies through our distributor network.
  • Set optimum multi-channel pricing and managing trade investment aiming at delivering competitive and profitable growth in international markets.


Leadership and Support:

  • Play a pivotal role in enhancing the commercial and sales capabilities of our distributors, offering guidance and support where necessary.


Distributor/Account Management:

  • Manage distributor inventory and get involved in the analysis process to ensure the correct mix, healthy stock and support with operational and supply process.
  • Manage efficient accounting processes to recognize A&P investments, Pricing Discrepancies, Return Allowances, Damage Products, and any other action that may apply.
  • Lead coordinated trade visits to evaluate sales and marketing fundamentals (portfolio, price, distribution, exhibitions, promotions, and planograms integrity).
