We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in Staffing Sales. This role is ideal for a local professional who knows the area well and is committed to contributing to our growth through hands-on sales efforts. The candidate must be comfortable with cold calling, door knocking, and making in-person visits, as we have limited leads and require proactive sales strategies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Development: Set sales appointments with key decision-makers at prospective client companies, particularly those in the Light Industrial and Clerical Staff sectors.
  • Client Acquisition: Sell Light industrial staffing services to businesses within a 20-mile radius of our branch location.
  • Lead Generation: Meet and exceed all sales objectives through cold calling, door knocking, and networking within the local market.
  • Client Partnership: Partner with the Recruiting team to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
  • Relationship Building: Build rapport and develop long-term business relationships with clients throughout an extended sales cycle and account management process.
  • Strategic Marketing: Support the creation and implementation of strategic marketing and communications plans, driving consumer engagement and awareness of the Staffing agency brand.


Qualifications:


  • Local Candidate: Must be local and familiar with the area. Relocation or travel exceeding 30-40 minutes is not feasible for this role.
  • Staffing Sales Experience: Proven track record in staffing sales is essential.
  • Cold Calling/Lead Generation: Must be comfortable with cold calling, door knocking, and generating leads with minimal existing resources.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with Bullhorn or Salesforce is highly beneficial.
  • Metrics-Driven: Strong ability to work with and meet KPIs. Candidates without experience in goal-setting or KPI achievement will not be considered.
  • Sales-Focused: The ideal candidate should be entirely sales-driven and have no aspirations to move into operations or recruiting. This role is 100% individual contributor sales.
