Director of Strategic Sales

Overview:
As the Director of Property Sales, you will assume a pivotal role in formulating and executing a strategic sales plan. Your primary responsibility is to bolster the sales within your property/region to optimize revenue and net operating profit for our hotel properties. Your leadership and expertise will be critical in driving the success and profitability of your property. This is a player-coach role where you will have individual and team targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within the hospitality or comparable industry (Will be managing a team of 3-4)
- Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth (They want to see sales numbers on candidates resume)
- Strong proficiency in negotiation, communication, and relationship-building (This role includes hands on selling as well)
- Proficiency in sales software and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Leadership: Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the property's objectives and revenue targets. Provide inspirational leadership to the property sales team to drive the attainment and surpassing of sales goals, encompassing the group, corporate housing and corporate transient segments.
- Market Analysis: Stay attuned to market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights. Utilize this information to make judicious decisions and adapt the sales strategy accordingly.
- Team Management: Engage in the recruitment, selection, training, and mentorship of a cadre of highly skilled sales professionals. Offer continuous coaching and guidance to ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional sales performance.
