Role Description

This is a full-time Asset Manager role at Wisconsin Housing Preservation Corp. The Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of affordable housing properties and ensuring their financial viability and long-term sustainability. The role involves monitoring property performance, conducting financial analysis, developing and implementing asset management plans, and coordinating property inspections and maintenance. This is a hybrid role, with the main location in Madison, WI, but allowing for some remote work.


Qualifications

  • Experience in property management, asset management, or a related field
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Knowledge of affordable housing programs and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g. RealPage)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, business administration, real estate)
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Property Manager, Certified Asset Manager) are a plus
