Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Plant Manager in the management of manpower depending on the fluctuation of delivery volumes
  • Rigorous control and monitoring to ensure the highest levels of Security, Organization, cleanliness, and efficiency
  • Support, Coach and constantly improve the team’s skills
  • Assist and coordinate transfer of equipment
  • Gets quotes for approval by senior management for Reviewing, scheduling, and overseeing all building renovations
  • Produces Comprehensive Materials List for Repairs
  • Updates all parties involved in work progress and/or informing same of changes/additions to original
  • work order or repair specifications.
  • Perform other Tasks as required or dictated by the overall business needs


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years recent & relevant warehouse management experience.
  • 2 years of 3PL and Logistics experience.
  • Post-secondary education in Logistics or a related discipline, a must.
  • Knowledge of distribution supply chain management.
  • Knowledge and experience in provincial employment and safety legislation is an asset (Specially in the warehousing and logistics field).
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills specially in Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in French preferred but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Results oriented, Self-Learner with a drive for constant improvement.
  • Great sense of initiative and leadership..
