Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Processes:
- Execute source-to-contract procurement processes aligned with business goals and category strategies.
- Maintain compliance with procurement policies and supplier diversity/sustainability requirements.
- Supplier Management:
- Develop and manage procurement strategies and initiatives for stakeholders.
- Foster collaborative supplier relationships and manage supplier interactions, including negotiations and workshops.
- Risk Management:
- Adhere to risk mitigation plans and provide tactical input on supplier performance.
- Identify procurement risks and ensure operational resilience.
- Collaboration:
- Work cross-functionally with finance, marketing, R&D, package engineering, QA, and manufacturing teams.
- Coordinate diverse team dynamics and support internal partners in achieving project goals.
- Project Support:
- Assist in sourcing components, presenting options to internal partners, and managing supplier selection.
- Support new product launches and ensure supplier compliance and risk management.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business/operations functions.
- Experience in the beauty/cosmetic/skincare industry, particularly with packaging suppliers and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs).
- Proficiency in procurement activities, including source-to-contract, requisition-to-pay, and negotiations.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with the skincare/beauty industry, including packaging and CMO processes.
- Ability to manage complex long-term projects and develop effective supplier relationships.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Concur, SharePoint, Visio, or OrgPlus.
- Innovative problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Executive functioning abilities and autonomous work ethic.
