  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Branch Managers and other key stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies align with their specific goals.

Your Role Includes:

  • Adhering to the company's procurement strategy.
  • Achieving purchasing objectives within your assigned sector.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and reductions.
  • Implementing standards, controls, policies, and performance metrics to manage and report on expenditures across the organization effectively.
  • Monitoring measurable performance metrics for procurement activities, including:
  1. Supplier performance
  2. Supplier quality
  3. Elimination of material shortages
  4. Buyer activity levels
  5. Financial performance
  6. Rebate programs
Overseeing the development of procurement staff skills and competencies, including training and knowledge management.Leading cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field.
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge or experience in horticulture is advantageous.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
