Pay range and compensation package: $130-160k + bonus



Position Overview: The HR Director will report directly to the CEO and spearhead the HR function for the organization. Key responsibilities include managing recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes; advising top executives on strategic planning; acting as a liaison between management and employees; overseeing personnel data management; ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations; and handling payroll processing.



Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience as an HR Director in a mid-market company, preferably with a background in designing and manufacturing high-engineered products for a global market. The candidate should exhibit strong leadership, team-building, cross-functional collaboration, performance management, people development, and project management skills. Executive presence, business acumen, and managerial courage are essential. As a growing mid-market company with a promising future, the organization seeks a proactive, energetic, and hands-on HR Director with a positive, solution-oriented mindset. The candidate must be adept at leading cross-functional teams and addressing high-priority issues and opportunities.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain an efficient and scalable HR management function across all sites, implementing systems, processes, and infrastructure to support current and future HR needs.
  • Manage the recruitment process, collaborating with hiring managers to create job descriptions, and oversee recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Ensure accurate collection and maintenance of employee data, and maintain a comprehensive system of HR policies, procedures, and controls in line with company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HR and employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the performance management system, including setting objectives, conducting performance appraisals, and making merit-based compensation decisions.
  • Administer the people development system, including individual development plans and performance improvement plans.
  • Plan and execute team-building activities in coordination with managers.
  • Lead the annual HR budget planning process and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.



Qualifications & Credentials:


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required; a master’s degree and/or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM) are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or other foreign languages is a plus.
  • Experience in establishing or managing HR functions in international locations is highly desirable.
  • 20% travel required
