About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Resources Management Specialist to join our team at the Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting Human Resources and Manpower programs for our federal civilian and military personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and administrative advice and information to our commander, managers, supervisors, and employees to support Human Resources and Manpower programs.
  • Support the development and implementation of Human Resources and Manpower policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other key functions within the Agency to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage a variety of manpower and personnel-related programs, special projects, and initiatives for HQ AFMAA.
  • Provide HR, Personnel, and Manpower procedural guidance and information to managers and supervisors in support of realignment actions and/or reorganizations.
Requirements
  • Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems.
  • Knowledge of Civilian/Military Personnel HR policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Ability to use automated data processing functions, techniques, and capabilities to develop and utilize data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.
  • Knowledge of manpower and personnel policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Ability to plan and organize to negotiate effectively with management.
