Overview

We invite you to explore the opportunity to join our team at the Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency. This position plays a crucial role in providing both technical and administrative support to enhance our Human Resources and Manpower initiatives.

Position Purpose

The primary function of this role is to deliver expert guidance and information to the leadership and staff of the Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency (AFMAA) regarding personnel and manpower programs affecting both civilian and military personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer management advisory services on personnel and manpower challenges, including their implications for internal manpower requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between AFMAA and Force Support Squadron on civilian and military personnel matters.
  • Oversee various manpower and personnel-related programs, special projects, and initiatives for HQ AFMAA.
  • Assist in executing HR, Personnel, and internal Manpower Programs.
  • Provide procedural guidance and information to managers and supervisors regarding organizational changes and personnel actions.

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must demonstrate specialized experience or educational achievements that align with the requirements set forth by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for Administrative and Management Positions.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one year of specialized experience at the GS-09 level or equivalent, showcasing analytical skills and knowledge of HR policies and programs.

EDUCATION: A PhD or equivalent doctoral degree, or three years of progressively higher-level graduate education in a relevant field may also qualify candidates.

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be acceptable, provided it meets the 100% requirement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Applicants will be evaluated based on their knowledge of AFMAA policies, HR principles, manpower policies, and their ability to communicate effectively.
