The responsibilities of the Senior Project Engineer include providing technical expertise, oversight, and leadership to the project team; attending client meetings; performing construction phase services; mentoring less experienced staff; and assisting with business development.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Leading and participating in design teams, support engineering calculations, and the design process
  • Supporting construction and commissioning processes on appropriate facility design projects
  • Participating, leading, and troubleshooting the field start up and commissioning on projects
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to staff and project engineers
  • Open availability to travel
Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have all of the following:

  • A bachelors degree (or higher) in engineering
  • At least eighteen years of relevant engineering experience
  • A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

  • Experience working in the consulting industry
  • Experience in PFD and P&ID development, specification preparation and equipment selection for major unit processes
  • Experience with proposal development, design, construction, and commissioning of process systems
  • Experience with automated control systems, PLC's and instrumentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
