Job Description:


Affinius Capital is seeking a talented HRIS Project Manager with strong expertise in Workday HR modules and a deep understanding of payroll and benefits to join our dynamic Human Resources team.

This role will play a pivotal part in optimizing and modernizing the firm's Workday platform in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties:
Support various payroll processes to include payroll administration, resolutions, audits, and reporting

Act as a liaison to benefit providers and support various benefit programs by coordinating information to team members, supporting the enrollment process, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date files and records

Manage and maintain all personnel files

Update and maintain organizational charts

Design solutions and configure Workday for an ever-changing organization with attention to scalability and consistency

Lead Workday projects through solution design, testing, and implementation, often serving as the primary technical resource

Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday HCM, payroll, benefits, compensation, time-tracking, and absence processes and integrations, providing guidance, training, and support to HR and the business while staying current with Workday releases and continuously building product knowledge

Prepare for and support Workday releases for Compensation and support annual Compensation-related processes

Process tax changes, direct deposits, deduction goals, retroactive adjustments, amendments, prorated payments and special pays

Reconcile payroll-related registers and prepare reports or statements summarizing payroll-related accounts

Manage internal and external audit requests

Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll

Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee and organizational data within Workday and the electronic file repository

Keep abreast of federal and state employment and tax and deduction laws and regulations to ensure compliance with current HR and payroll policies, procedures, and practices

Data entry including but not limited to new hires, terminations, bonuses, leaves of absence, payroll calculations, and deductions

Process and track 401(k) uploads to vendor, working closely with 401(k) advisors and consultants

Create standard and ad hoc queries or reports

Perform other essential duties and assist and support the HR Executive Director with special assignments/projects as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field

5+ years of multi-state payroll and benefits administrative experience

3+ years of Workday experience

Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, specifically Excel


Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of employees, dealing with others in a straightforward and honest manner and showing accountability for your own actions while supporting company values.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to be a team player. Proven ability to listen to others and value their opinions, helping to meet team goals and promote a team atmosphere, while maintaining professionalism at all times

Strong technical competency and the ability to think innovatively, with the ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and online tools/platforms

Highly organized with strong follow-through skills and attention to detail. Ability to ensure work and information are complete and accurate through careful preparation, review, and quality checks.

Knowledge of federal and state employment and tax and deduction laws and regulations

Strong work ethic and self-motivation with highly developed time management skills. Able to take on new responsibilities, manage competing priorities, multiple projects, and pressure with attention to deadlines

Ability to be flexible, adaptive to change, open to new ideas, and problem-solve independently, adjusting plans as needs change.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential records and documents and maintain the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information

Must be willing to work on-site full-time

Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level

Preferred Qualifications:
