Position Overview

The HRIS Applications Analyst is responsible for managing and supporting the human resources information systems (HRIS) while also acting as the administrator for the Learning Management System.

Key Responsibilities

In the role of HRIS Applications Analyst, your duties will include:

  • Offering functional and technical assistance for the organization's HRIS platform.
  • Identifying and proposing technical solutions to address challenges encountered during the service request process.
  • Tracking incoming service requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Managing service request backlogs and keeping all open items updated with current progress.
  • Collaborating with various internal teams to investigate and suggest system enhancements to improve learning processes.
  • Maintaining comprehensive process documentation.
  • Coordinating system upgrades and overseeing user acceptance testing for new features.
  • Recognizing and implementing changes to rectify errors and prevent future issues.
  • Providing mentorship to junior team members and assisting them in managing significant incidents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with UKG systems, either Pro or Dimensions.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting enterprise HR management systems such as Kronos, Taleo, or Workday.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with SQL and Oracle databases.
  • 2+ years of experience in application development or programming.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles.
  • Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley IT Change management controls.
  • Ability to adhere to change management protocols.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
