Job Description:

Join our team as a Human Resources Assistant at HEI Hotels and Resorts, where you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. Your responsibilities will involve assisting associates with requests and information, participating in recruiting and interviewing processes, maintaining department files, explaining benefits to associates, coordinating job openings, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Assist associates with requests and information in a timely manner
  • Participate in recruiting and interviewing for all hotel positions
  • Maintain department files and assist with onboarding processes
  • Explain benefits and assist with enrollment and claims processing
  • Coordinate job openings and pre-selection activities
  • Ensure accurate administration of wages and benefits
  • Prepare correspondence and maintain applicant flow logs
  • Ensure proper employment eligibility verification for new and existing associates

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities, plan, and delegate effectively
