Benefits Data Trust (BDT) is seeking Benefits Outreach Specialists to provide public benefits education and application assistance to low-income individuals.

What You'll Do:

The Benefits Outreach Specialist (BOS) role focuses on overcoming barriers to public assistance programs through inbound and outbound call management, as well as paperwork processing.

If you're dedicated to helping others and enjoy problem-solving, you're the perfect fit for our BOS position. Along with these traits, exceptional customer service, time management, multitasking, and empathy are essential. Basic computer skills are necessary due to the remote nature of the role.

Training:

Comprehensive virtual training will equip you with the necessary knowledge. Effective communication and teamwork skills are crucial for assisting clients.

Preferred qualifications include experience in non-profit, social services, or call centers, as well as a bachelor's degree. Fluency in multiple languages is a bonus.

Remote Working:

Your typical workday, running from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m., includes designated lunch and break times. Full-time role with provided equipment and internet stipend. Starting salary of $19/hr with various benefits and paid time off.

After a 90-day probation period, you'll receive a stipend to enhance your home workspace.
