Job Description:
  • The OCN Aspire Integration and Test Lead plays a dual role throughout the local deployment of the OCN Aspire solution.
Integration Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate all integration and cross-functional topics within the deployment location.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define key local scenarios and variants used in data migration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Partner with ASPIRE functional integration management to provide functional direction.
  • Support all local business and IT streams with all aspects of integration.
Test Responsibilities:
  • Define the local test scope and strategy.
  • Develop test plans and reports for each testing phase.
  • Lead and manage the local/regional testing workforce and deliverables.
  • Provide support to local teams with test scripting.
  • Ensure local tests are documented according to the system-specific framework. (Testing of ASPIRE solutions is managed in SolMan ALM.)
  • Oversee all local/regional testing prerequisites for each phase, including systems, middleware, test cases, test schedules, data, local/regional systems, and trained testers.
  • Manage defect management across streams, ensuring defects are progressed/escalated and that alternative scripts are developed as required.
  • Lead and support UAT activities, particularly ensuring workarounds are defined for accepted defects and resolution dates are known.
  • Guarantee all testing is performed according to the project plan and schedule.
  • Collaborate closely with other roles involved in testing activities across streams.
  • Track and monitor stream test deliverables for formal and informal testing activities.
  • Ensure the respective workstream is prepared for testing according to the required phase/activity.
  • Establish and train the respective test team and manage the logistics of test execution.
  • Manage the definition and creation of test data for templates.
  • Coordinate the creation of test cases within their respective workstream.
  • Coordinate test execution within the workstream and with relevant business units.
  • Collaborate with stream-specific interfaced legacy systems to align system readiness from a technical/data/resourcing perspective.
  • Create test status reports for the respective workstream.
  • Develop and maintain the respective workstream SolMan test plan and track progress.
  • Coordinate defect management within the respective workstream.
  • Create and process test reports in SolMan for the respective workstream.
  • Ensure traceability of respective requirements coverage for the respective workstream.
  • Guarantee that all local test elements are in place for end-to-end testing phases (e.g., system, integration, and UAT).
  • Align test plans and reports with core ASPIRE test governance.
  • Ensure local requirements traceability is complete from a testing perspective.
  • Foster excellent communication between core and local test teams.
  • Expedite and escalate defects as necessary.
Reporting Structure:
  • The Local/Regional Testing Lead reports to the Local/Regional Deployment Lead and the ASPIRE Test Managers (dotted line, matrix organization).
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • Strong cross-functional knowledge within the deployment location
  • Leadership experience
  • Project experience, ideally with cutover experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, for clear local direction and global/above-site engagement.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix environment.
  • Understanding of risk management principles and ability to promote/support appropriate mitigations.
  • Coaching and supporting teams across streams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferred)
