Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned Optical Systems Testing Lead to spearhead the creation of testing solutions for our state-of-the-art optical transceiver offerings. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in advancing our leading-edge optical transceiver technologies to market readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, design, and execute testing protocols for fiberoptic transceivers
- Formulate comprehensive test plans and schedules
- Guarantee the traceability of testing outcomes to product specifications
- Collaborate closely with design engineers on emerging technologies
- Develop manufacturing test solutions for high-volume production
- Contribute to strategies focused on design-for-test
- Engage in design evaluations and risk assessments
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering/Physics or a related field
- Over 7 years of experience in testing optical transceivers
- In-depth knowledge of optical communication systems
- Familiarity with DVT requirements for optical transceivers
- Proficient in Python for automation of testing processes
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation
- Exceptional communication abilities
- Knowledge of SQL and statistical analysis techniques
