UPP Global is a growing full-service parking management company active in 8 states along the Eastern Seaboard with over 300 locations Our team is looking for multiple full and part time Valet Attendants at our Portland, Maine locations.

  • Openings in Hospitality (9 downtown hotels) and commercial (multiple popular Commercial street restaurants)
  • Hours will increase for top performers as we move into the busy season (MORE CASH TIPS
  • Valid drivers license required
  • Earn an average of $20 - $25 / hour (base wage and tips) after training
  • Comprehensive benefits package for full time (30+ hrs) employees
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
  • Provide exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Be responsible for parking and retrieving guests vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner
  • Assist guests with bell service, directions, taxis, reservations, information about meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility and other inquiries as needed
  • Assist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage during arrival and departure
  • Transport guests via the hotel shuttle service
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the day
  • Must provide excellent customer service
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination, as driving is required for a duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds
  • Must possess a current drivers' license and maintain a clean driving record
  • Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
  • Must maintain a groomed, professional appearance
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) check
