About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious General Manager to lead our R R Irish Pub location in downtown Portland, Maine. This is a large, high-volume bar & restaurant with a strong events / party business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume 100% responsibility and accountability for the business
  • Lead the financial (sales building and cost control), operational and personnel components of the business, both Front and Back of House
  • Act as a spokesperson when representing the brand and business at a local level
  • Establish, nurture and maintain trusted relationships with employees, guests, community groups, societies, vendors and local authorities
  • Ensure that all local and state laws are followed as related to the service of food and alcohol, employment and the facility in general

Requirements:

  • 3 years of high-volume bar & restaurant general management experience
  • Ability to relocate to Portland, ME before starting work
