Job Summary:

The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests by safely parking and retrieving their vehicles. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet arriving guests warmly and assist them with parking their vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Drive and maneuver guests' vehicles carefully to designated parking spots, ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
  • Retrieve guests' vehicles promptly upon request, assist with loading luggage or belongings, and ensure that vehicles are returned in the same condition as received.
  • Welcome arriving guests and assist them with unloading luggage or belongings from their vehicles.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, carrying luggage as needed, and provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with luggage storage, retrieval, and delivery to their rooms, ensuring that all items are handled carefully and delivered promptly.
  • Provide courteous and attentive service to guests, responding promptly and professionally to their requests, inquiries, and concerns.
  • Offer assistance with transportation arrangements, restaurant reservations, and other guest needs, and provide directions and recommendations for local attractions and activities.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and preferences and proactively offer assistance and solutions to enhance their stay experience.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including traffic laws, vehicle handling guidelines, and security measures, to ensure the safety and security of guests, vehicles, and property.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the valet parking area, bell stand, and lobby entrance, including removing debris, organizing luggage carts, and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or security concerns to the appropriate supervisor or manager for resolution.
Requirements:
  • Previous valet experience is preferred; minimum of 1 year of driving with a valid Driver's License; must maintain a valid driver's license and comply with our DMV guidelines.
  • Ability to provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, and maintain composure when working under pressure.
  • Ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced environment.
