In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the point of contact for leave programs, FMLA, and benefits
  • Review and manage medical-related employee needs
  • Prepare and explain correspondence and reports related to benefits and leave
  • Conduct employee forums and represent the organization at benefits fairs
  • Stay updated on relevant rules and regulations
  • Provide guidance on sensitive HR issues to management
  • Develop and deliver HR training in leave management and benefits
  • Act as a subject matter expert in FMLA and benefits
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • HR Generalist II - 1 year of HR-related experience
  • HR Generalist III - 2 years of HR-related experience
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in leave management, including FMLA and ADA
Competencies:
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and state/federal regulations
  • Experience with HR software such as PeopleSoft and Taleo
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 lbs
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and repetitive motion
