Here's a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Staff Accountant in our General Ledger accounting group. You'll play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our Corporate Accounting Department, collaborating with other Corporate/General Office departments and manufacturing personnel.
- Contribute to the completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze, prepare, track, and input AS400 journal entries.
- Reconcile and analyze various account analyses on a monthly basis.
- Prepare, analyze, and review monthly S&A variance reports.
- Assist in Division month-end, quarter, and year-end financial book preparation and distribution.
- Handle printing and distributing AP checks.
- Manage InterCompany Billings.
- Take charge of Fixed Asset accounting for the Food and CAPP Divisions.
- Support other departmental duties and special projects as needed.
In addition to the qualifications and experience mentioned, we are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Is proficient in MS Excel.
- Manages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines.
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Shows a strong work ethic and a thirst for learning.
- Pays meticulous attention to detail and is committed to delivering high-quality work.
